I have been assigned to do a project in my family studies class on blended families. After my group and I did research we decided we needed something to add from real people, no research can match the experience of people and children living in blended families. If you don't mind sharing some of your experiences with me and my group I would really appreciate it. Some things I would like to know about include things such as the unique challenges of blended family, the advantages of these families, disadvantages, the effect of children in these families, and the difficulties of the step parent. I would appreciate any imput into these subtopics as well as experience you or your children or step-children or if you yourself grew up or are growing up or about to enter a blended family. Stories are also very much appreciated (we are planning to do an interview, and hand out a magazine we make, the stories will come in handy for this...we will change all names for privacy).
