SUBJECT: I need to gain self-confidence
I'm 17 years old and single. Girls always go for my friends and not for me. My parents say it's because I have no confidence. I try to but people around school always tried to make me be an ass of myself. They always mess with me like I'm some kind of geek. I wear glasses and talk like most educated white people(I'm multiracial, black and white but I look black). I'm also a nice and innocent looking guy. People judge me by my cover. I'm very smart but not a nerd. I get out. I do have some good friends but I have some that like to make me feel stupid. Other people try to tell me to do stuff I can't do just to make myself look like an ass. I tried to stand up for myself but when I do they ignore me. I'm also alot shorter than almost everyone else my age(I'm 5'4-5'5). How can I get out of this life without suicide? I don't htink suicide will happen because of those good friends and the loving family I have. Will this be less after high school? Will girls look more for good personality? I have one more year of high school left. I need help or advice. Anything to be happier and gain self-confidence.
