Hi, I hope this message finds you in better spirits. I recently had a miscarry and lost our baby the first part of May. I read your story and my heart goes out to you. I'm not suggesting anything to you but here if you need to talk, scream, cry or vent out what you feel. I am pro-choice however when I found out I was pregnant and I'm 29 years old. I too found myself questioning if my husband and I could handle the responsibilities of becoming parents, it would've been the first for both of us. I live in SF which the cost of living is extremely high, and I would've had to quit my job and we probably would've scaped by. Just when we were both comfortable with the idea of being parents, I fell so love with our baby, then I lost it. Do what you feel is best for you, no one can make that decision but you. At times I believe god gives us obstacles to get over, at times we fail and others we pass with flying colors. Please do not think this is your fault because he had a part in it too. You need to weigh what's important to you, I know you really don't have a support group where you're at, like I said before I'm here as well as others for you to talk with. I know many women who've had their child or children with little help or no help from the father's of there are programs available to help you. Like I said I am pro-choice and i'm catholic if you believe that, I believe a woman has every right to do whatever she feels, it's her body. Do I believe in aborting a baby because you're uncertain about being able to take care of yourself as well as the child's well-being, yes. However everyone's different, when I found out i was pregnant, getting an abortion crossed my mind constantly, it wasn't until i saw the ultrasound and saw the most beautiful thing, my baby's heartbeat, everything changed that day, from that very day, I was so elated to be a mom. Ask yourself if you're ready to be a mom, know that your life will change dramatically. I'm not saying you should or shouldn't have the abortion, because that's something you have to figure out for yourself. Like said before there programs and people out there to help if you decide to keep your baby, I wish there were something I could do to make you stop worring so much because it's not healthy for you or your baby. I'm not trying to scare you at all just want to be honest with you. I had a D&C right after losing my baby and it was the most tramatic thing I have ever gone through, still I am pro-choice. keep me posted becaues my heart goes out to you and God will be there with you every step of the way, whether you decide to keep it or not.
Take care and Best wishes Always,
Natalie
