SUBJECT: Inappropriate touching
I am the mother of a great 6 year old girl. We have moved to a new state and she met two girls, they are siblings. About a month ago, my daughter told me that the older girl (8 years old) has been touching her on her chest, she said she told her to stop and the girl did not. We talked about her body and her right to it. At this time I decided to keep an eye on her and not let her be alone with my daughter. Than about a week ago, my my daughter told me the girl touched her again this time while they were outside playing. I was wondering if I should stop her from playing with them all together or should I try and talk to the little girls mother. I told my daughter I was proud of her for telling me because this is the type of relationship I want with her, but if I dont let her play with the girls anymore, is she going to think that she should not have told me, because now she cant play with her friends?
Please advise
