Thanks for posting your response. your message was so positive. Sometimes I get so heavy withall of the negativity around this condition. You seem to have a really strong sense about yourself and your situation. Not everyone does so I guess I would use caution when recommending the actions you took to others. We are all alike but we are all different as well. Like you, I have been trying to offer my support but I'm really encouraging others to find a Doctor they can trust. I would like to think that I and everyone who is bipolar can get througha pregnancy smoothly but we know that isn't accurate. I can't imagine being commited during pregnancy or worse yet having the baby while in a psychotic state. I want to do all of the right things and take all of the precautions I can to avoid that.
