SUBJECT: PCOS-Is there any Hope???
Hi everyone.
I was diagnosed with PCOS about 1 week ago. My husband and I have been trying to concieve for almost a year now, unsuccessfully. Now that we know what the problem is, I have been prescribed clomid. I will start taking the clomid in about a week. Is there any hope for us to concieve on 50mg of clomid? Does it usually take a higher dose? Is it possible to get pregnant on the first cycle, or does clomid work at all for PCOS patients? I just do not know what to think, or what to expect. Any advice or stories or comments of any sorts on this issue would be greatly appreciated. I do no know anyone with this disease, so I have no one to talk to about this. And, I am very scared. We want a child so bad, and I am afraid that this will be a long and tedios process. Thank you to everyone.
