I am a normal 34-year-old man and still remember having the same kind of experience. I think I was a little older maybe 6,7 or so. I think it is normal for boys, I turned out totally normal, and in fact have fewer desires for sex than most men. I would though reframe him from touching him-self and try to keep him from experimenting until he gets older. Your doing just fine, like I said was attracted to my mom too, but obviously this passes with age, as I am married with a 3 year-old daughter. You’re a great mom for asking and being concerned. Snuggle with your son, but if he gets turned on, stop. Please remember this is not his fault, it is built in our genes and he can not help it, but also remember some or all of his erections may have nothing to do with sex, just hormones kicking in.
