SUBJECT: Girl wants to be a boy
I have had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with a very unique young lady. Threw conversations and play sessions I have come to believe that she really wants to be a boy. She wears her hair short, only wears boy cloths (Dump trucks on T's and such), Refers to herself as a male, and has given herself a male gender name. I have overheard her telling other girls that she infact has a penis. I have never experienced a child like this. I was wondering if anyone else could tell me about this type of behavor. Could this be the beginings of Homosexuality? Should I correct this behavior, Or simply let it be? I forgot to mention that the child is only 6 years old and is often left im my care.
