marijuana should be treated like alcohol. In any case, I used to be a HUGE pothead, smoking an ounce a week - I quit when I got pregnant and it is definately something you grow out of. I don't like it the way I used to and I see friends who are potheads and they just seem lazy & stupid to me now. Life's a lot different when you quit smoking pot and it isn't that bad - you sleep better and you can concentrate more. Marijuana puts you in a dream like state and sure I had a lot of fun with it in high school and college but after you quit you realize how stupid you were and how much money you wasted. If pot was legal, I don't think it would be a problem in society and it'd be available in pure forms (not laced with meth or coke as it sometimes is) and more affordable (an 1/8 can is anywhere from $40 - $100, if you're smoking anything worth smoking)
