Hello,
Yes, I know someone who had a missed abortion. She was three months pregnant but they said her baby stopped growing at two months. Yes, I am sorry to say it was very painfull for her emotionally and physically. She was not given the option available to you therefore she suffered greatly until she was finally given a D&C. I was with her through it all and all I can tell you is that the D&C was not horrible and in fact she was fine right after it. She was put to sleep during the ordeal and the hospital staff was very nice to her and understanding. Her doctor was great as well. The D&C was a much better option for her.
