SUBJECT: Zoloft & Pregnancy; odds of problems
I am convinced that while the best case scenario is to take no medications, that zoloft is relatively safe. But, I have some questions after reading other posts.

First, I belive my panic attacks came from Post Traumatic Stress, or just stress. I went undiagnosed for 6 months, so depression set in. Once diganosed and treated with zoloft, I am doing well. It's been 2 years. When I ween myself off the drug, I start crying and can get angry if life isn't going my way. I do not remember crying prior to zoloft.

Am I apt to have more troubles while pregnant even if I stay on the meds?

Am I a prospect for post pardum depression, or will staying on the meds prevent it?

Finally, does anyone have a case while during or after pregnancy the hormonal roller coaster ride put things back in order and they no longer needed zoloft?

Other than the inability to enjoy sex, I feel great on 50 to 75 milligrams. Sometimes I feel a liitle crazy around period time, but I don't change my dosage or anything and it passes. I am also early 40's and running out of time.

I have 3 docs and they have 3 different opinions, so I am hoping for some reality from your posts!!
