SUBJECT: THROAT INFECTION
Hi, my 2 yr 3 month old daughter was diagnosed on Tues with a throat infection. Her older brother (4 yrs) had it the week prior. My question is she started antibiotics on Tues, Zithromax, and it's now Friday and though her fever finally broke yesterday, she still isn't eating and she's drinking some, but not her usual. Shouldn't the antibiotics have helped by now? Yesterday her nose started running (clear) too, and she seemed just miserable. Not her usual. Is this just all common in the illness she has because I know it knocked my son out pretty bad too, tired, sleeping alot. It took him a good 5-6 days to get back to normal, should I just give her more time?
A little worried! thanks.
