SUBJECT: reattached penis
I feel like the worlds worst mom. I thought I was pulling *all* of the foreskin back like I was told. I had even been to the ped. and asked if everything "down there" looked ok. Well yesterday, we saw another ped in the office and she politly (sp) told me that the skin has reattached somewhat. I felt like a crappy mother who was neglecting her son. She pulled the skin back apart and everything was fine. It was BRIGHT red around the "mushroom" as she called it. But she told me that it was common and not to worry about it or feel guilty about it.

Has anyone had this happen to you? I thought I was pulling it all the way back, but his "bird" sinks in and he is a wiggler when it comes to diapers or clothes. So I have to do everything in a flash. Please tell me that I am not the only one who has let this happen to their ds.
