SUBJECT: differing results - HPT and dr office urine test
Hi, I just spotted for a day or two when I was expecting my last period. When I realized I could be pregnant I took a HPT - 14-15 days after ovulating. I got a light positive result. I then immediately took another and got another light positive. The next morning same result - light positive. I wanted an official answer and was traveling for work, so I went to PLanned Parenthood for another urine test. They told me it didn't matter that it wasn't morning and that I had just urinated 2 hours earlier. The result came back negative. So, the next day I took another HPT and it was again a very light positive. I'm planning on going to the Dr next week for a full blood test when I'm home, but I really want to know, as I'm very excited. What do you think? i'm planning on taking another HPT tomorrow morning when I wake up. Should i believe the HPT's even though the results are very light or should I believe the planned parenthood urine test?
