SUBJECT: keeping kids behind repeating a grade
i have twin sons who are in first grade. they both have some learning disabilities. the school they are in now is a little harder than a regular school. but they have really come far. but is it far enough. how do i decide if i should take them out and put them in regular school where they would get more sp-ed. right now they recieve 16.5 hrs. of sp-ed. plus two hours at home each week speech thearapy and this summer they will have 4 hrs. i need some insight. advice. thank you.
