SUBJECT: Normal Sexuality for 5 year olds
About a month ago my son (4 and 3/4 years old) started touching himself quite a bit. He keeps telling us that his pee-pee won't stay down. It appears that he is getting frequent errections. I notice that it seems to happen a lot when he is snuggling with me as well. I assume that this is a normal thing that boys go through but I am at a loss as to why it is happening now and how to handle it. We can tell him it's OK to touch himself but to not do it in public, but the problem is that this is obviously uncomfortable for him and he doesn't know what to do. Any help from others?? how did you handle this? Thanks
