Hi - I'd get a second opinion before worrying too much.

As far as I know, this is only an issue when the mother is RH negative. It shouldn't matter what your husband is as long as you're positive.

I am RH Negative & my husband is positive. My doctor said this is the only time RH factor is an issue, and even still it's not that big a deal. She will immunize me at 28 weeks to prevent me from creating the antibodies that would attack my baby.

I think your doctor is alarming you unneccessarily.
