SUBJECT: Wellbutrin SR- Safe for pg/nursing?
Hi. I'm Angel. 27yo 7 weeks along. I was diagnosed with Post Partum Depression after the birth of my youngest daughter and have been on Wellbutrin SR and Celexa (Lexapro) off and on since. Off and on because I tried to stop on my own and would relapse. Most recent was doctor weaning that I still relapsed so I was restarted on my meds in January of this year. Just found out I'm pregnant and I'm worried. OB has taken me OFF of Lexapro but says Wellbutrin SR is OK if necessary during pg. So much what I read says conflicting info. Safe for pg but not safe for nursing? I intend to nurse this baby so NOT nursing is not a option for me. I do not want to take anything that will put this baby in danger but then again I dont want to go insane either. I know what I am like when I am not on anything and it's not pretty. BUT, I am willing to do whatever I need to do. Does anyone have any concrete info or advice for me ? Please? Some sites say yes, other say no.. Is there one that HAS been tested on pg women and is 100% safe?? Please respond if posible thank you and God Bless.
Sincrely,
Angel
