Hello. I am 30 yrs old and found out I was pregnant back in February. Ifound out I was about 4 wks then. About a week after I felt as if I had cramping in my back. I went to the hospital and they did a sonogram. They saw a sac but no baby. My doctor then said we had to do surgury to look and see if it was in the tubes or where the embryo was. They could not find a thing and the sac tested negative. I was still showing pregnant. My doctor was going to test my hormone levels and if they were still going up a few days later they would have to do something. When they did the surgery they also did a D and C. A few days later I was vomiting and having a fever. I felt like I was dying. They did another sonongram and found a baby on the RIGHT side. He theorized I have a double uterus. I don't know how they did not see the other baby in there. I knew I had a baby in there...I just felt it..that intuition. Well, they admitted me and they gave me antibiotics and IV and that early morning my fever broke and I started bleeding...I found out that next week it was a miscarrage for sure. I am going to have a MRI done so he can find out for sure that it is a double uterus. He said the baby could have received an infection from the D and C. He doesn't think it was twins because they suctioned when they did it.... It was a roller coaster ride of emotions. I just want to know for sure because we are going to try to get pregnant again. Anyone else had this happen to them? I just don't see how they didn't see the other baby???
