SUBJECT: Encouragement for young moms
Ladies, I have been where you are. Technically I am where you are. I got pregnant at 16 and had a baby at 17 in 2001. Of coarse I was still in High School, so that added to the stress of pregnancy. But I did what I had to do for me and my baby which was graduate High school. Now I am in College. At the time I never thought I would get to go to college with a baby so young. But I did and I am still there going fulltime and have a part-time job, my own apartment, and car. Now I have a new man in my life who has been there for almost two years. I am 19 and pregnant again. Unplanned of coarse. But I have stayed in school take care of my daughter and myself as well as attending school full-time pregnant. So it can work for you. You just have to be willing to make it work. It is not easy, but by choosing the right friends and the right diretion to go in life it will be a little easier to handle. If you ever need someone to talk to I'm here.
