SUBJECT: Preschoolers are Funny
Children are sponges when it comes to learning things -- they just absorb the world around them. Their world view can be a little bit different than what you expect though! If you have stories about something fun from your preschooler, drSpock.com would love to hear them!

We live in the Pacific Northwest -- you have to love the rain to live here. My daughter, like every other preschooler I've ever known, loved sloshing outdoors in the rain...and hitting every puddle on the way. She decided that rainboots weren't for rain -- they should've been called "puddle jumpers" because THAT was what they were for! The best part, though, was the fact that, as a parent, I could look through her eyes with her...and jump into those puddles, too!
