For some reason, for me, I remember first diapers. My mom had never dealt with a disposable diaper before. The first time she managed to put it on backwards...and way too loose. Picked the baby up, diaper slid off -- and, of course, the predictable happened. I was so sleep deprived that I laughed and laughed...until I got THAT look (you know the one only your mother can give you)... Poor Momma -- with my son, she got that little boy firehose (she was his FIRST). I was VERY careful not to laugh... |
