what do i do to get a test done at my doctor?

Can someone please tell me how you go about getting pregnancy tests done through my doctor? I'm not sure if i will go there yet. I want to wait untill I've passed my period's due date longer. But if i do go there.. will i have to pay for it? HOw much? And who do i go to. Can I just go to a walk in clinic? And do they shout out My name and what I'm there for in the lobby? I know these are stupid questions but if there was someone there that i knew i wouldn't want them to know what i was there for. Also...is a blood test or a urine test more accurate through my doctor??
