I'm glad that you decided to have your children rather than an abortion but telling her to wait does not make sense. She no longer HAS the choice to wait until she is older and more of a woman. She made that decision when she decided to have sex. So really, whether you realize it or not, you're telling her to think about abortion or adoption because she is already pregnant so waiting is no longer an option. And i will say this from my own experience, as hard as it may be to be a teen parent it is harder to go through having an abortion. Raising a child takes 18 years and there is many joys along with the hardships and if you work hard at it, when that child is grown you will have many more happy days being that child's parent for the rest of your life. Having an abortion stays with you for the rest of your life in the form of emotional pain and guilt and there is no times of happiness over it to offset that. When you have an abortion, that is definitely not best for the baby because the baby is dead so who are you really thinking of when comtemplating an abortion? Yourself only. You're making the child pay for your mistakes and that is simply wrong. Adoption is always an option but is very hard emotionally, often times on both the mother and child.

It sounds like this young lady has the support of her parents which should be of great help and i'm very happy to hear that for her. I wish you all the best Jessy and I'm actually very proud of you for not taking the easy route that so many who are in your place would do (myself included at that age).
