Help! I am being induced!

Hi My name is judy and I was just told by my doctor that because I am overdue 1 week that I would have to be induced. I will be induced on Thursday April 24. I am so SCARED! If anyone here has been induced what is the procedure and does it hurt alot! Please be as honest as you can Thanks. I would also like to know What kind of lab work they have to due before. If any one has any idea I would like to be somewhat prepared.Thanks again. I would also like to get some ideas on baby boy names. Don't have one yet! Any suggestions welcome.
