SUBJECT: wife wants divorce after baby
my wife and i just had our first child seven weeks ago. she now wants to divorce me. i have been nothing but supportive and helpful both before and after the birth. i had noticed she started to ignore me after the birth. whenever i would bring up the subject of her lack of affection toward me she just said she was tired or sore. i felt like she was starting to hate me, yet she gave full attention to our little girl.
three days ago she told me she wants a divorce. she claims she fell out of love with me one month before the birth. something else i noticed was every time i picked up the baby she watched me like a hawk. she would always look for something i did wrong like holding the bottle, or the angle i held her when i fed her. she only does this with me however; not anyone else. is there anyone out there with this same problem? does this or is this a form of depression? i need help please. i dont want to lose the two most important people in my life. thanks to those who reply.
