my son is 12 and is trapped in a 15 year old body

my son is 12 and is the size of a 15 yr old. he is constantly made fun of because he also is overweight as well as being very tall. how can i help him overcome the rude and downright issues and torments of other people. other kids are constantly calling him fatboy, fatf---, chunky monkey, tubby, tub-o-lard, among many other names. they make him feel guilty about eating anything....even his lunch. my son is a gentle and friendly person and wants people to like him but his self esteem is going out thie window.what can i do?
