my six week old also has baby acne. my doctor said it takes about 6 weeks to clear up whether you do anything to it or not. i haven't put anything on it and it really is clearing up pretty well. if it helps, i had his pictures taken and it doesn't show up at all. i was bothered by it also since my first son had beautiful skin since birth. my mom and aunt told me, although my doctor was not inclined to agree whole heartedly, that the sun helps. i let him sit in the sun a little bit each day. i think it helped.
