SUBJECT: Weaning off Bottle
My daughter is 12 months old and the Ped wants us to start weaning her off the bottle. She has been drinking pretty well from a sippy cup (aside from throwing it on the floor when she is done- ugh) since about 8 months. I have started giving her half milk and have formula. Today, I did give her milk/formula in a sippy cup instead of a bottle at snack time.

I was just curious how other moms got their babies off the bottle. Did you do it cold turkey? Did you slowly replace bottle with sippy cups over a short period of time? Any advise? Any input would be appreciated.
