SUBJECT: Wanna be Mom seeks advice - Could I be? Or am I just obsessing?
I am not due to begin my period for another week, but I just had a 'light' period that lasted two and a half days. Normally, my periods last 5-7 days. I haven't been off the birth control pill for terribly long, so I am thinking it could just be that my cycle is out of whack. However, my friend who is currently pregnant told me last night that she still experienced a period when she first got pregnant. The only other syptoms I feel are fatigue and light-headedness/dizziness, which could be a flu or something.

Is it worth taking a pregnancy test or should I wait for another cycle to go by? We are actively trying and if it happens then great, but because I have some pre-existing health problems, I am nervous about not finding out I am pregnant right away.
