Hi,

I've been reading through everyone's experiences with bleeding during pregnancy, and yours seems very similar to mine. I am about 7 weeks along, and just last weekend, started bleeding (but it went away after a few hours). I rushed myself into the E.R. where they did all kinds of fun stuff (even gave me a catheter -sp?-to fill up my bladder so they could see my baby in the ultrasound)...

After looking at both the vaginal and regular ultrasounds, they said everything was fine. It could be old blood (is what they said)--but pregnancy is so strange--no on knows for sure when it comes to pregnancy.

Did I mention this is my second child also? I sailed through the first, thinking this one would also be a breeze...but now it's a bit of a nightmare every time I go to the bathroom and wipe...wondering what is going on.

My first "real" check up is in two weeks, and the E.R. team told me to refrain from sex, excersise and just all around stress until then. They said the baby looks fine so far, and my levels are fine...

I was able to see the baby on the monitor already...wow! it was so great...

my best advice is to take it easy and rest...and remember that there are MANY of us out there going through the same worries..
