If you have any second thoughts what so ever then I would wait. My girlfriend had a appt. to get her tubes tied after her 3rd child was born and backed out at the last minute. But.........and I stress but.........A month or so after that.......after her hormones started to get back to normal she was able to think clearly and then made a decision to do it. She has not regreted getting in done and was glad that she took more time to think it over. Another option. If your boyfriend is into it, he can get done. That is what my husband plans to do after our 4th child is born. They say it is cheaper, less recovery time, they do not have to be put under like we do and can be easliy reversed. So there are some ideas, I hoped I helped.
