Hi! Well, the pill definitely affects us long after it is out of our systems! I, too, was devistated when I didn't get pregnant my first month off the pill. I'm now beginning my third cycle of trying since I stopped taking my pill after ten years of usage. So, let's just hope it's my month. I also assumed that I would get pregnant right away because I had waited for nearly two years before my husband of seven years decided he was ready. So, needless to say, I feel like i've been trying for two years now. It's very depressing and I've found that even my closest friends and even my dear mother don't seem to understand why I get so upset. They just keep trying to tell me that I shouldn't be upset because I've only been trying for a short time. I think only people that are going through it at the same time seem to understand. So, hang in there. You can always talk to those of us going through it too.
