This week our newspaper "Newsday" is run articles on daycare centers. (The articles started on Sunday, January 13, 2002) The first daycare center they looked into was Tutor Time. If you live in Long Island in New York you need to read this. The centers had over 50 violations (this was between 4 centers). I could not believe some of the violations. The ones owned by Tutor Time (the company) are under staff, dirty, and they hire people who are abusive to children. However on the other hand my sister has her son in a Tutor Time daycare center and she loves it. It appears that the ones which are privately own are run better than the ones which are owned by Tutor Time (the company). I suggest you look into the Tutor Time you plan on having you child attend.
