I had the same exact problem with my son too not to long ago when he was around 1 year old. Since then I have switched daycare centers.. with my son he was not getting long enough naps nor was he eating enough food. I am also a preschool teacher too. Some schools have such awful schedules and not enough teachers that they can't really be flexible and meet every childs needs. Maybe check with your childs teacher and see if he really eats enough and takes long enough naps.. At the school I work at our napping period is only two hours which for most of our children is sufficent but we have a few who really need longer naps sometimes almost three hours.. Since we are equipped with enough teachers- we can let them sleep..Also a small snack and drink on the way home really helps- sometimes children are just hungry and can't wait to eat dinner especially if they haven't had enough to eat at school...
