 | I am a frustrated mom of a seven year old boy. I have tried everything from punishment to rewards to try to motivate my son from peeing in his underwear or BMs in his pants. He does not have an accident each time he needs to use the bathroom, and he generally uses the toilet, but he frequently still messes his pants and tries to hide it. He most nights still wets the bed also. I have tried pullups but they make him regress all the more. I am frustrated because his bed and room smells of pee, and he has more dirty, smelly laundry than my husband and I. He acts like he knows when he needs to go BM because he will ask to shut his bedroom door. I have caught on to this and make him go poop in the toilet, when I open the door to check on him to make sure he is on the toilet, sometimes he will be squatting in the floor beside the toilet, and taking a dump in his pulled up underwear. Please help a frustrated mom and dad with any advice. I am taking him to the pediatrician next week to see what he says. |
