Hurray to you for wonderful advice!!!

I had the most passive daughter who always got hit, bit, etc but now the shoe is on the other foot and though my son is exiting that stage, in the past he has been the biter, the hitter, the pusher. He never ever broke the skin, but it still bothered me immensely and I cannot tell you how important it was for me when someone was understanding. We worked so hard with him and had to watch him closely until he outgrew the phase. I have to say though, I am a stay at home mom, so my child was not doing this in a day care situation, but he would do it a play groups.

He immediately had a consequence and sometimes we would have to leave the situation. However, I applaud your advice to all moms, let's remember it is normal and to be understanding.
