SUBJECT: how to talk to 7yr old about bad people
Today at our local baseball field a man was arrested for loittering around fields and was in the mens bathroom for an extended period. The man had no children at the games, and was hanging out to cause trouble. The man was taken by the cops. All of the parents were stunned, as I was. My son asked what happened. I told him some people are bad and want to hurt others. My son was very upset and scared, how do I talk to him about this without revealling too much, but making sure he is aware of the terrible things people can do?
