SUBJECT: Infant with large head
My 6 month old daughter is in about the 97th percentile for head growth. She seems to be following a normal growth curve so the doctor is not too concerned. My father had a large head as a baby and they were concerned that he might have hydrocephalus. Turns out he just has a big head. I'm not sure if my head is big for an adult. My HC is about 22 1/2 in. Does anyone know where I could find an adult head chart? I'm just trying to figure out if my daughter is predisposed to a large head or if I should be more concerned. Could she have inherited her large head from my dad?

Thanks,
Jen
