Hi! I could be wrong but I think your doctor
could refer you to an therapist for this problem. If I remember correctly, it is called Plagiocephaly. There is a special helmet or headband that they can wear to round out the head. Although I'm not sure if your son is too old for this at 4 mos.
Try to encourage him to turn his head the other way - if not when he is sleeping then at least while he is just lying down. Put toys, mobiles, etc on the other side to try to hold his attention in that direction. You could also try keeping his crib against a wall and turning him so that if he wants to see out, he has to lie on that side.
