SUBJECT: 7 y/o w/ADHD & bedwetting
My son was just diagnosed with ADHD today. He has always been free natured and that's what I love most about him. I noticed it creeping up little by little over the past 1 1/2 yrs, but passed it off as wanted attention because I was pregnant and he wouldn't be the baby anymore. That wasn't true because he & his baby sister could not be closer-he is her keeper. He also still wets the bed-is this a sign? My heart aches to put him on Concerta, but if this helps, I'll do anything because he is so frustrated because he is constently getting in trouble for "forgetting" things and not following directions. I don't want his free spirit to be affected. Besides not being able to pay attention, everyone loves him so much because he is a sweet kid. If there is anyone else out there that feels guilty for the meds, please help. My heart hurts for my son and his new diagnosis.
