SUBJECT: Are my hopes too high?
Pregnancy is just full of opportunities to worry, and here's my latest one: I have my hopes SO high that I'll have a girl, could they be too high? I've fantasized about having a daughter for 30 years; baby boys have never really entered my mind. Now I'm concerned about how I might feel if this little body inside me turns out to be a boy. We're not finding out for several reasons, but one of them is that I hope the joy of seeing a healthy baby will erase any possible disappointment that may arise. Rationally I know healthy is the goal, but realistically I know I'm hoping for a girl. Any thoughts?
