You and the baby will both be fine. My mother was 35 when she had me and my older brothers were 8 and 14 years older than me. My older sister was 13 years older. I can say that I am not very close to my siblings because of the age difference, but I am extremely close to my parents. I am now 31 and still as close as ever to my parents. I have a family of my own and have decided to try to have my children closer together in hopes that they may be closer to each other than my me and my siblings. I am also trying to devote as much time to my children as my mother did me, and I'm finding it difficult to do. There are advantages to spreading your children out I am finding. Hang in there, having a child is never a mistake. You and your family will be closer than ever! trish
