I , too, have a 9 year old son who HATES homework with a passion..he has even gone so far as to conveniently " forget " it at school. I have a great arrangement with his 3rd grade teacher and the school psychologist ( call in the troops ! ) ...there is a reward system in place both at home and at school ( sticker chart at home ) ..check list in school....and lots of positive reinforcement....

I also do not " correct " my son's homework, but do guide him.

My son has ADHD also..does your son ? Sometimes a homework club, school counselors, medication, etc... can help...just a thought.
