Your child probably is a normal 3 year old. I use to work in a daycare center and our boys were always more wired then girls. I think talking to your child is the best tactic. Also as a parent of a 4 year old girl who has trouble with listening as well because she is to busy talking herself, we set up an agreement with her. An incentive to be good at school. If she was good in daycare for a whole week she got to go to the store and pick out a prize. (something small) we kept up on it though. I talked to her teachers everyday while picking her up to get a report on her behavior for that day. We stayed very positive about her behavior. It was her choice whether she wanted a prize or not. It doesn't have to be a prize it could even be something that they really like to do. (example: park or chuckee cheese dinner, or playing a specific game.) I hope this helps.
