I Just had my 4 year old daughters ears pierced, That was what she wanted for her Birthday. I think it is teaching her responsibility with making sure she helps turn her earrings everyday, and she does really well. Of course, I help clean them, I am sure she could do this alone, But I like to make sure it is done right. I guess if you don't want to help her, It just depends on the maturity of her.
