SUBJECT: BooBoo Mouth
My lil man fell and cut his top lip, bottom lip and tore the flap inside his mouth that attaches the lip to the gum at the top of his mouth...oh can't help feeling guilty..soooo much blood!!!! the ped office was closed..it was a Sunday...ped called back and said it didn't sound like an er visit...get some ice on his mouth..well..nothing worked..frozen teether...frozen washcloth..ice in a washcloth..lil man was not cooperating UNTIL!!! I got the idea of taking one of his clean socks, placing an ice cube inside and crushing it with a meat tenderizer....he took that!!! ran around with that in his mouth until the ice melted and wanted more...oh I must mention that the ped came to my house to check on the baby....now that was something!! anyway..now when he is having problems with the teething..I get out a clean sock and he gets relief and has fun..
Maybe it will help some of you...
