 | | | NEXT MESSAGE |  |  |  | | AUTHOR: | Laurine | DATE: 03/02/03 7:00pm | | SUBJECT: | please help we with the ex-wife |  |  | This is the first time here for me---it's difficult to write down everything from the beginning -I'd be here all night---I guess I just need help on how to "deal with" my husband's ex-wife---we are quite a blended family--there is me, my daughter, who is 11(my husband has adopted her) and then there is my husband with his three girls whom are 12, 15, and 16 and we all live together with his ex having every other weekend with them--the problem isn't really with us--it's just with her(the ex)--To say the least, she really isn't in the picture a whole lot when it comes to the kids---if you want me to be specific -ask me and I will--but I don't want to bash her---but she really can be a thorn in my side sometimes---she's very childish about "very serious" things--the kid's health, well-being, etc......most of the reason they live with us and have for a long time now is because she didn't take good care of them--left them home alone---the list goes on-----I sometimes have a difficult time dealing with her childish behavior--and my husband thinks I should just try to ignore it like he does most of the time--but it is on -going---it's one thing after another----sometimes "major things" sometimes "not so major" but nonetheless, it's always something---this evening for example, she dropped the girls off from her weekend visit (3 hours early)-and just "had" to come in the front door to help them with their bags ---she NEVER helps them with anything--but through the grapevine she must of heard of us getting new living room furniture---I have caught her in my house un-invited before-and she has been told by my husband that she is not to come to the door for ANYTHING--and that she is expected to respect our privacy as we have always done for her--it's just little things like that--but they tend to pile up----my husband and I argue mostly because he is quick to shrug it off where I'm not---I feel she has no business in our house (unless there is an emergency)--and if she was any kind of a human being she wouldn't want to come into our house--for her though it's all about what "we have"--it's like she keeps tabs----help--sometimes I get so furious I could "spit nails"---do I need help??? his ex is not a normal person---(I'm not saying that to be cruel) I need help to figure out a better way to deal with her--like I said it's always something--- |  |  |  |
