SUBJECT: Bipolar Disorder and Pregnancy
I have bipolar II disorder. I take medication daily to treat it. I cannot get pregnant while taking these medications, however, my husband and I desperately want to have a child. I will have to come off of my medications to conceive. I am concerned with how that will affect our lives during conception and pregnancy. If anyone has gone through this or knows someone who has, please give me some insight. As I said, we desperately want a child.
