SUBJECT: LEARNING DISABILITY/ help
Hi I'm a mother of 5 children. My 8 yr old who is in 3rd grade but only can do 1st grade work was just diagnosised with a learning disability, plus a speech impairment and motor skill problems, plus she cannot process and retain any information. She has been in special ed for 1 1/2 yrs now and seems to only be getting more fustrated. It takes forever to do HW but thats with the 2 of us getting extremely upset. I want to do everything I can for her but I need to learn myself how to make things easier for her. If anyone can offer me some advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
